| Math 125 (Online) Intermediate Algebra |
Welcome to Math 125-Intermediate Algebra Online
This course strengthens and further develops manipulative skills
in elementary algebra. Topics include the fundamental operations
on algebraic expressions, solutions of equations and inequalities,
exponentiation, graphs of algebraic, exponential and logarithmic
functions, systems of equations and inequalities, and introduction
to the conic sections. Applications are included in a wide variety of
worded problems.
Syllabus --- Online Assignments
Since this is an online course, student and instructor
communication through email is very important. I will hold office
hours on campus, but email will be the primary method of
assistance and communication.
Although the majority of the work will be done online (homework,
quizzes and chapter exams), we will meet on campus for unit
exams. Please review the syllabus for these mandatory exam
dates.

There is an orientation on Friday, February 3, 2012 at
6:00 - 8:00pm. All students who are enrolled should attend to
receive valuable course information. Students who are
attempting to add must attend this orientation. All add slips will be
given out this day.

There is a high volume of students trying to add this course. To be
considered for adding, you must be present at the orientation. Not
all, maybe no students will be able to add this course. If you are
trying to add, I strongly recommend that you have other options
just in case you are not able to add. I cannot guarantee anything. If
I do add, it will be on a lottery basis. I apologize for any
inconvenience.
